Anyone who lives in, works in, or is from Far West NSW is welcome to join! You don’t need to own a farm or work directly in agriculture—if you’re passionate about rural life and community, there’s a place for you here.

No! While many of our members are involved in farming, we’re also about socialising, networking, and supporting rural communities. Whether you’re an agronomist, teacher, tradie, or just love the country lifestyle, you’re more than welcome.

We aim to hold at least two educational events per year—one hands-on, active session and one computer-based session. We also run a mix of social and networking events, giving members a chance to connect and learn in a relaxed environment. As well as our biggest and favourite: The Cockies Cutout Ball

Yes! Some of our public events are open to everyone. However, becoming a member means you’ll be part of our community, have the chance to contribute ideas, and attend our four committee meetings per year (quarterly) to network with like-minded people.
